IDA invites you to its Awards Spotlight: National Geographic - Life Below Zero with screening of episode “Loaded” plus a special behind the scene short. National Geographic's fan favorite series Life Below Zero follows the lives of rugged individuals living subsistence lifestyles in remote areas of Alaska as they brave the frigid winter temperatures and the ensuing spring break up. Featuring Emmy Award winning cinematography, the series' stunning visuals take viewers deep into the frozen tundra to examine a way of life that is nearly unimaginable. Following the screening is a moderated Q&A featuring Editor Ian Richardson, Executive Producers Travis Shakespeare and Joe Litzinger, Emmy-Nominated DPs Terry Pratt, Mike Cheeseman and Ben Mullin. Moderated by IDA Executive Director Simon Kilmurry.
